The right to education is a basic human right. The imposition of fees limits access to those who can pay or who can work the system. Narrowing the pool of potential university applicants in this way is unfair; it is also a waste of ability and talent. Higher education free at the point of delivery is an investment in the future of society; what better use of taxpayers’ funds is there? Keep up the struggle.
